The gap became obvious.
Clinical teams needed more than another spreadsheet. They needed visibility across attendance, schedules, assessments, and student progress without rebuilding reports by hand.
About Track My Clinical
Track My Clinical brings scheduling, attendance, evaluations, skills, and reporting into a secure platform built for nursing and allied health programs.
Give educators the visibility and time they need to focus on student readiness instead of administrative chase-downs.
Our story
Track My Clinical began after seeing capable educators lose hours to manual coordination instead of the student support and program insight that actually move outcomes.
Clinical teams needed more than another spreadsheet. They needed visibility across attendance, schedules, assessments, and student progress without rebuilding reports by hand.
The team designed a secure, role-based platform around the real operational rhythm of nursing and allied health programs, not a generic project-management workflow.
Every feature is meant to reduce administrative drag, strengthen documentation, and give educators a clearer view of whether students are ready for the next clinical step.

Co-Founder & Nursing Education Leader
Dr. Megan McDowell is an award-winning nurse educator, entrepreneur, author, and co-founder of Track My Clinical. With more than 20 years of experience in nursing and nursing education, she is dedicated to improving how future nurses are prepared through innovation, evidence-based practice, and educator-focused technology.
After years of managing nursing students across diverse clinical settings, Megan saw firsthand how administrative demands could take valuable time away from teaching and mentoring. She co-founded Track My Clinical to give nursing programs a more efficient way to manage clinical education, student progress, and compliance—allowing faculty to focus more of their time on student success.
Throughout her career, Megan has led curriculum development initiatives, taught across a variety of clinical education programs, and served as a success coach for students and faculty. Her clinical experience includes critical care and cardiology, giving her a practical understanding of the demands placed on both healthcare professionals and the educators who prepare them.
Megan is also a published author and national speaker whose scholarship focuses on human trafficking education for healthcare professionals. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, presented at national conferences, and serves on Georgia’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Human Trafficking Task Force. In 2026, she received Harper College’s Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of her contributions to nursing education and professional practice.
At Track My Clinical, Megan helps ensure the platform is grounded in the real needs of nursing programs. Her goal is to help educators simplify administrative work, strengthen student learning, and better prepare the next generation of nurses.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and cheering for the Chicago Cubs.
