Using the Clinical Judgment Model to Guide Improvements at Track My Clinical

At Track My Clinical, our approach to ongoing evaluation mirrors the clinical judgment process used in nursing practice.
We intentionally seek out and recognize cues from students, instructors, and clinical coordinators and use that feedback to drive purposeful improvement in the user experience.
Student input highlighted opportunities to enhance the check-in and check-out experience. After analyzing those cues and identifying priorities, we implemented workflow updates that make the process faster, smoother, and more intuitive—especially during busy clinical days.
We also responded to faculty and coordinator feedback by introducing the ability for clinical coordinators to add notes to individual students within a rotation and to manage clinical requirements across multiple health systems.
These enhancements strengthen communication, support continuity, and reduce administrative complexity across diverse clinical placements.
As we continue to evaluate outcomes, feedback remains consistently positive—particularly regarding ease of use and the convenience of having all clinical hours documented in one centralized space.
Just as in nursing practice, this ongoing cycle of assessment, action, and evaluation ensures Track My Clinical continues to evolve to meet the needs of clinical education.
